Son of the well-known Spanish painter Rafael Canogar, he lives from childhood surrounded by an artistic environment that enhances his artistic vocation. In 1992 he began his studies in Fine Arts, graduating from the Complutense University of Madrid in 1996.

In that period, in 1990 he received an Erasmus scholarship for Leeds Polytechnic, in England. In 1993, he began his first series of entirely metallic mural pieces with iron rods and a geometric tendency. In 1997 begins to produce pieces already fully exempt, inspired by nature, simplifying the forms to its most basic structure. With a presence in important Spanish collections, he has exhibited in countries such as Holland, England, Ireland, Italy and Finland. Since 2008, he has been president of the Association of Minimal Size Sculptors, coordinating his collective exhibitions of traveling sculptures in the community of Madrid. He has regularly participated in fairs such as Artmadrid, Estampa, Valencia Art and Artenavas. He has actively participated in groups such as Forma y luz, S.T. and is currently a member of the A2 collective.
